At SIB, the Nadia Group's specialist in aluminum gates and closures, the team solved a major challenge: the lack of traceability of production offcuts, which are often reusable. Scrap management / Traceability / Overconsumption of materials / Difficult reuse
"Before Reeverse Systems, we encountered a recurring problem: scrap management. We didn't keep track of the offcuts generated by production, even though they were often usable in terms of length.
As a result, we didn't know what we were storing, reuse was complicated for operators, and we were over-consuming raw materials and buying bars that remained unused ."
Smooth integration / Flow analysis / Reverse Systems support
" Integration went very smoothly. An essential preparatory phase was carried out with Reeverse Systems: analysis of flows and current operations, and definition of an optimized implementation to guarantee ease of use and acceptance by operators.
This deployment was carried out in conjunction with our teams and our IT system.
Reduced C0₂ / optimized off-cuts storage / rapid identification of M2Vs.
" The benefits are already tangible. In November 2025, we celebrated the recovery of 20 tons of raw material, i.e. 92 tons of CO₂ saved.
Scrap storage is now clear and organized in the workshops. Operators quickly identify and locate the second-life materials (M2V) they need, in a dedicated, pre-identified stockpile."
Bar setting / Bar length simulation
"I was particularly impressed by two features:
Firstly, bar setting: this optimizes the positioning of offcuts in the profiles, whichsaves usnew bars. The operator also has a clear production list showing the exact order of cuts to be made.
Secondly, bar length simulation: we buy profiles of varying lengths (from 4.80 to 7 meters). Thanks to this simulation, we have been able to adapt our purchase lengths to generate as little off-cuts as possible."
Reliability / Clarity / Simplicity
"In terms of production flow, everything has become clearer and more legible. We no longer rely solely on the knowledge of operators to find an existing scrap or one in a stock that is not necessarily listed. Reverse Systems brings considerable reliability and simplification to our processes.
Our operators have really embraced the solution and recognize the benefits themselves, noting that we are throwing away far less."
Productivity maintained
" Productivity has remained similar to what it was before. There is a small amount of time to be devoted to the storage and retrieval of off-cuts in the stacker crane, but the operator no longer questions the availability of an off-cut, nor wastes time looking for it in a stockpile.
As a result , we're able to maintain the same productivity rate as before, with no need to think about it.
