Interview with a SIB Operator

Written by Auriane Morinière | (04/15/2026)

In the workshop of SIB, a subsidiary of the Nadia Group and specialist in aluminum gates and closures, production teams are relying on a new materials management system to make better use of production offcuts and gain in efficiency.

Here, an operator shares his experience: the concrete benefits from his cutting station and the organizational changes implemented. Discover below the complete Q&A interview with a SIB operator.

What has changed in your day-to-day work since you started using the Reeverse Systems solution on your cutting machine?

"I'd say it's mainly the amount of reusable scrap. Before, a lot of offcuts were discarded. Today, all offcuts can be reused, which makes a real difference in everyday life."

What feature do you find particularly useful in your job?

"Without a doubt, the M2V (second life materials) function . It's quick and easy to use: when adding to new stock, all you have to do is scan the QR code on the label, and the material is automatically saved in the location indicated. It's very practical.

What concrete changes have you seen in the organization since implementing the solution?

"Before Reeverse Systems, when a defective part had to be reworked, even if stock was available, you had to look for a long time: there was nothing to indicate the right bin. Now, with Reeverse Systems, it's much simpler: you know immediately where each part is, thanks to the location indicated.

On the other hand, when there was no fall available in the racks, a stretcher had to be called back, and as the stacker crane was often saturated, the wait could be long. Today, with the application, we know immediately whether a chute is available or not, saving precious time .

If you had to describe the solution in three words?

" FUNCTIONAL, RELIABLE and ECONOMICAL.
